Conference Theme

Scaling Intelligence

Engineering Abundance

We are pivoting from an economy constrained by scarce expertise to one powered by scalable synthetic intelligence. AI is becoming a new industrial force: manufactured in data centers, embedded in products, orchestrated by agents, and applied across every sector of human need. The IIT Bay Area Leadership Conference 2026 theme, “Scaling Intelligence: Engineering Abundance” captures this tectonic shift: the idea that abundance in healthcare, education, energy, mobility, manufacturing, and creativity will not simply happen; it must be designed, built, governed, and scaled.

Keep up the good work with the IITs. We really count on the amazing graduates of IITs. I'm surrounded by them, I think its got to be a close to couple of thousand IIT employees at NVIDIA, an amazing system.
