About Us

The Indian Institute of Technology Bay Area Alumni (IITBAA) is a 501(c)3 California nonprofit public benefit corporation. IITBAA is dedicated to the professional advancement of alumni from all IIT campuses throughout India who call the greater San Francisco Bay Area home. The primary goal is to educate the alumni through the dissemination of ideas that lead the market and create global technology trends. IITBAA arranges periodic subject matter discussions and organizes an annual conference that empowers the IIT alumni as they retain their edge in the workforce.

IIT Bay Area Social Clubs

There are 25+ clubs spanning Hiking, Book, Career, Breaking into CXO, Music, Travel, Raquet, Dance, SF, EastBay... you name it! To join IIT-BayArea WhatsApp groups, first please fill out the form. If you've already done it for another club, No need to fill it out twice. Towards the end of the form, click on one or more of the WhatsApp group joining links in the form and send a join request. These groups are open to anyone as long as an IITian can vouch for them. Family members are most welcome to join.
